Scott joined gadens lawyers as a partner in mid-2005. Prior to this, Scott had worked for other top Australian firms and in London. With a track record of acting on high profile construction transactions and disputes, Scott has gained an outstanding reputation in the Australian construction industry. He is the author of "Building and Construction Law" for the Laws of Australia. Scott is also on the editorial board of the Australian Construction Law Newsletter and the Australian Construction Law Bulletin. 

Scott acts for governments, developers, contractors and consultants. He has extensive experience in all forms of contract procurement and dispute resolution including litigation, arbitration, expert determination and mediation. He has also been involved in numerous adjudications acting for claimants and respondents under the Security of Payment legislation.

Scott will be presenting a session entitled "Keeping it out of the courts: Cost-effective dispute resolution" at the Sydney masterclass on 19 October.
