Peter Pether is a Construction Partner in the Property, Construction & Environment Client group, specialising in construction and engineering projects. He has extensive litigation, arbitration and alternative dispute resolution experience in the construction, engineering, resources and infrastructure project sectors. Peter also works in the negotiation, documentation and administration of major construction and engineering projects. Peter is the Practice Team Leader for the Mallesons Property Construction and Environment Team.
Most recently, Peter has been nominated as a leading individual in the area of Construction by PLC Which Lawyer? 2009, Chambers Global Guide 2010 and APL 500 2009/2010. Peter is also included in The International Who's Who of Construction Lawyers and Who's Who Legal 2010.
Peter works in all of the Australian states and territories. He has also worked extensively in the resolution of disputes outside Australia, including major project work recently involving projects or disputes in England, South Africa, Ireland, New Zealand and Mozambique.
Peter has successfully resolved disputes about road, rail, stadium, energy, mining, airport, port, pipeline, dredging, power, telecommunications, tunnelling, ticketing, water, waste, commercial, industrial and residential projects.
Peter will be presenting a session on "Understanding the implications of recent Security of Payment decisions" at the Sydney masterclass on 19 October.
