Lindsay Stirton is a partner in the Finance and Projects Team of the Sydney office of DLA Phillips Fox.
Lindsay has approximately 20 years experience in the preparation of project documentation, including requests for tenders and conditions of contract, and in dispute resolution relevant to commercial contracting.
This experience has been obtained in construction, engineering and Defence contracting and has involved preparing documentation for the acquisition of new equipment, the establishment of new projects and for the through life support of existing assets.
Lindsay is a member of the DLA Piper International Arbitration focus team. Lindsay regularly presents at seminars on the full range of commercial contracting issues. Lindsay has been a visiting lecturer at the University of Sydney and the University of NSW on contracting issues.
Lindsay is a member of the Business Law Section of the Law Council of Australia, the Institute of Arbitrators and Mediators Australia and Lawyers Engaged in Alternative Dispute Resolution (LEADR).
Lindsay will be presenting a session entitled "Spotlight on an emerging trend: Arbitration" at the Sydney masterclass on 19 October.
