Josh is a construction and projects lawyer who acts on behalf of a wide variety of participants in the construction industry involved in construction, engineering and infrastructure projects. His clients include contractors, principals (both public and private), subcontractors and consultants.
His experience has included drafting and negotiating construction and related contracts (including those contracts based on Australian Standards documents and other standard forms), advising on risk mitigation strategies for project delivery as well as acting on behalf of parties in dispute.
Josh has been involved in a wide variety of infrastructure development including transport related infrastructure (road and rail), social infrastructure (hospitals and schools), utilities (gas, electricity and water), residential developments and government infrastructure and accommodation. A number of these projects have been delivered using limited recourse finance structures including projects delivered under the UK and Australian PPP/PFI initiatives.
Josh will be presenting a session entitled "Examining the introduction of the AUstralian Consumer Law and its effect on the construction industry" at the Melbourne masterclass on 21 October.
