With particular strength in the complex area of securitisation, David is one of the few insolvency lawyers with front-end securitisation experience. He also has considerable experience with insolvency in managed investment schemes.
David acts for clients as diverse as liquidators, administrators and receivers, financiers, banks and creditors and in a range of industries including retail, property, construction, mining and aged care. His technical know-how has seen him manage large, high-profile and complex transactions such as the Opes Prime receivership.
His areas of expertise are insolvency, banking (retail and commercial), securitisation, mortgages and securities, administrative law/regulator relationships, corporate associations, including directors’ duties and co-operative societies and contractual disputes.
