Jeff Clark is a Partner in the Melbourne office of Mallesons Stephen Jaques where he practises in the Banking and Finance group.

Jeff specialises in major projects including project finance, acquisition and leveraged finance and the financing of property acquisitions and developments. He also advises extensively in relation to financial restructures and workouts, general insolvency issues and securities enforcement.

Jeff has been nominated as one of the world's leading project finance lawyers by Chambers Global Guide since 2000. He is listed in the International Who's Who of Project Finance Lawyers and was named as a leading Banking lawyer in IFLR 1000 2009, as well as being recommended in the 2009 edition of the Guide to the World's Leading Banking Lawyers produced by Euromoney's Legal Media Group.

Transactions on which Jeff has recently advised include, the Victorian Desalination PPP in which he advised the lenders to the successful AquaSure Consortium, the Peninsula Link PPP in which he advised the successful Southern Way Consortium, the privatisation of Queensland Forestry where he advised Hancock as the successful purchaser and the bid by TPG and Carlyle to acquire Healthscope Ltd where he is advising their financiers.
