Stephen Moulton

Stephen has been a practising lawyer for 25 years.  Stephen joined PricewaterhouseCoopers ("PwC") in April 2009 to commence a complimentary corporate and commercial legal capability providing legal services to those PwC clients where it makes sense to use PwC for legal services.

In addition to general corporate and commercial legal services, Stephen has undertaking a consulting role reviewing in-house legal functions for a number of PwC clients including a major bank, a Victorian government utility and a Victorian government authority.  Working closely with Aaron Hanlon from our Performance Improvement team, Stephen has brought his subject matter expertise to a process and control review of in-house legal functions and as a result, PwC has a breadth of experience unmatched by other firms in this space.

Prior to joining PwC, Stephen was Chairman of Partners (2004-2008) at Mills Oakley Lawyers and Managing Partner/CEO (1994-2004).  In those positions, Stephen has a fundamental understanding of the operation of legal practices, their structure, tender processes and arrangements, service level agreements and their negotiation etc.

Stephen has been an accredited Commercial Litigation Specialist (1996-2002), is a member of the Law Institute of Victoria and a director of the Carlton Football Club.
